WHAT WAS EWWWW......IS NOW AHHHH

Remember this?

Well after days of intense labor, it is now this:

Actually I already had everything that was used in this room except for the paint. I will be updating the light fixture, the toilet seat, and the door knob in the days to come. I know that you're probably wondering what's the deal with the shower curtain and bath accessories so let me explain: I purchased these items early last year when Target was having a clearance sale on a lot of stuff at 75% off! At the time I thought it would be cute in the boys bath since I'm going for a nautical 'Concept' in their bedroom. Now that I'm a little more in touch with my creative side, I know better than to be so matchy matchy and themey! So yes I will be finding a new shower curtain and and accessories later, but the boys really do enjoy this little set (especially the boat that goes "BONK BONK" when you press it down for the soap). I mean really can you tell a 4 and 3 year old no?!

So what do you think? And I feel as if there is something that should go above the toilet. I was thinking the word FLUSH in red because boy O' boy! And where can I find a good light fixture that's not too expensive?

To catch up on what took place to get to this CLEAN bathroom start here, here, and here

You HAVE to put the words "FLUSH" above the toliet, that is so funny, unexpected and appropriate!!!!
The bath turned out great...wow, you're fast. It looks so fresh, particularly compared to the before! And hey, if the boys like them who cares if the accessories match...throw in the "FLUSH" and no one will even notice!!

Hi, I think you could do the "FLUSH" with some of my free Glidden paint. I have several cans of red delicious paint that you could have. LOL! And I think, as always somethings look great when there some "matchy matchy" going on. I love it! For a small boys, I think it looks exciting and makes it worth their while to enjoy their flushing experience. Great Job!

We are currently working on a hall bath too. You are quite an inspiration! I can't believe how MUCH WORK such a small space is turning out to be! Ha! I hope mine is as nice as yours in the end.

This looks great. Love the color and the round mirror is gorgeous. You did a fantastic job!

I think you did a great job on the bath, and who cares if the accessories match! Children like it, and that's what counts. That's your audience and who you are trying to please. And I think they are cute as can be. I'm tired of all the so-called experts saying things can't match. You did a great job, and it's a fun room!

Nice job. I bet they love it. I do think you need something above the toilet. If I had boys, it would be "please put the seat down!" lol!

I think it's darling and perfect for boys. Tardevil and I were thinking along the same lines, but I was thinking "lift the seat" :)

Very nice - I love all the colors !
Yes, you do need something above the toliet...how about one of those nice wood cupboards in white? I have one for my main bath, as not a lot of storage..anyway we have all that extra stuff that would have been in the medicine chest..just a thought....have fun !
